Samuel H. Haynes Studio.  He went into partnership with Arthur E. Bestic as Bestic & Logan circa 1884, opening a studio at 204 Broadway. Shortly after 1886 the partnership broke up and Logan continued operating the studio.

By 1889, his studio had moved to 101 Broadway, and he had branch galleries at Lisbon and Casselton, North Dakota.  In the fall of 1891 his health began to decline, and he turned his business over to his brother James R. Logan.  Samuel H. Logan died in Fargo on April 9, 1892.
