The first known major promotional piece about the North Dakota Agricultural College (NDAC) was the Prospectus , published and distributed in June of 1891, when classes were still being held in rented space from Fargo College .   The Prospectus provided information on the faculty, the reason for the creation of NDAC, admissions requirements, term information, resources, et cetera.   It also presented information on lectures/courses currently being offered, proposed four-year curriculum, and a list of the 31 current students.
