Bertha Aman, 92, of Fargo, died Thursday,
April 24, 2003, at Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND.
Bertha Aman was born in Bessarabia, Russia, June 3, 1910, to Balthasas
and Barbara (Wahl) Zimmerman and came to America with her family
in 1911, to Lehr, ND.
She married John Aman in Danzig, ND, on February 12, 1927. They
lived in Egland and Pillsbury, ND and Audubon, MN and came to Fargo
in 1957. Her husband John, passed away December 3, 1989.
Bertha is survived by two children, Lillian Curfman, Fargo, ND,
and Rupert (Shirley) Aman, Moorhead, MN; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren;
5 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ida Koepplin, Lehr, ND;
one brother, Jake (Margaret) Zimmerman, Lenexa, KS; and numerous
nieces, nephews and friends.
Bertha was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Larry; an infant
son, Vernon; one sister; five brothers; and her parents.
