Materials:
Ch = chain
YO = yarn over
Sl st = slip stitch
SC = single crochet
DC = double crochet (YO one time)
2-chain Picot: ch 2, sl st in 2nd ch from hook [Picot made]
Row 1: Ch 14.
Row 2: DC in 5th chain from hook. DC in next
ch. Ch 2. Skip next 4 ch. Work (3 DC, Ch 2, 3 DC) over next 2
ch. Ch 1. Turn work.
Row 3: Work (3 DC, Ch 2, 3 DC) in Ch 2 space
of shell just made. Ch 2. Skip next Ch 2 space. DC in each of
next 2 DC and in top of Ch 4. Ch 4. Turn work.
Row 4: DC in each of next 2 DC. Ch 2. Work (3
DC, Ch 2, 3 DC) in Ch 2 space of next shell. Ch 4. Skip next 3
DC. Sl st in next Ch 1 space. Ch 2. Turn work.
Row 5: Work (5 DC, 2-Chain Picot, 5 DC) in Ch
4 loop just made. Work (3 DC, Ch 2, 3 DC) in Ch 2 space of next
shell. Ch 2. Skip next Ch 2 space. DC in each of next 2 DC and
in top of Ch 4. Ch 4. Turn work.
Row 6. DC in each of next 2 DC. Ch 2. Work (3
DC, Ch 2, 3 DC) in Ch 2 space of next shell. Ch 1. Turn work.
Repeat rows 3-6 for desired length, ending with Row 5.
Break off thread.
Weave in and trim all loose ends. Hand wash in mild soap and
cool water, rinse well. Blot by rolling in a towel, then lay flat
on dry towel, smoothing and stretching to original size and shape.
Allow to air dry. Pin flat edge just under finished edge of pillowcase,
towel, or table linen as desired, then whipstitch lace to fabric.
Whip stitch ends of lace together on the back side to join, as
desired.
