The Germans from Russia Heritage Collection is pleased to provide this unique publication about Christmas memories in this Germans from Russia community of Strasburg located in south central North Dakota.

The author, Bill Kraft, grew up in Strasburg in the 1940s and 1950s sharing vivid memories of Christmas Eve at the Kraft home and the Germans from Russia traditions including the Belzanickel and Christmas Eve Mass at the beautiful Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
