Discussion Group
An electronic mail list for subscribers who are interested
in Germans from Russia research and family research oriented specifically
to the Glückstal Colonies of Bergdorf, Glückstal, Kassel, and Neudorf,
and their daughter colonies. Today the former German villages of
Bergdorf, Glückstal and Neudorf are located in the Trans-Dniester
region of the Republic of Moldova. Today the former German village
of Kassel is located in Ukraine.
Subscribers must be current and paid members of the Glueckstal
Colonies Research Association, 4819 West Seminary Avenue, Richmond, YA 23227. For membership information, go to www.glueckstal.net.
The GCRA electronic mail list provides a forum for discussion
and communication among GCRA members who wish to exchange information
and research related to their ancestry in the German-Russian villages
known collectively as the Glückstal Colonies of South Russia, now
Moldova (Trans-Dniester) and Ukraine.
