125th Anniversary of the Arrival of the Volga Germans from Russia to Coronel Suarez, Argentina

On Saturday 31 March 2012, the Mayor of Coronel Suarez, Lic Ricardo Alejo Moccero, established a very important public document. The mayor designated the year of 2012 as official celebration in all the District of Coronel Suarez as the 125 anniversary of the arrival of the Volga Germans from Russia to Coronel Suarez. They first came on 31 of March 1887 so in the same date of 125 years all the District of Coronel Suarez made a very important event – 31 March 2012.

Important discussion, participation of very important television, newspapers and radios of Argentina were present. Music, dances and historical videos were presented. A lot of people were impresed with this very important act commemorating the 125th Anniversary. The Mayor of Coronel Suarez has organized events from 31 March 2012 until l 29 of December 2012 when Sergio Denis is going to sing in Coronel Suarez in what is going to be the event of the year.
