Bernadine Lang Kuhn and Erica Lang Wangler prepare
Kuchen, Baked Rice and Dampfnoodla

Bernadine and her sister, Erica, are natives of rural Napoleon,
North Dakota. They attended the Glückstal Lutheran Church,
south of Tappen and north of Napoleon. Bernadine lives in Owatonna,
MN and Erica lives in Bismarck, ND.

Bernadine's four Kuchen

pitted plum (prune); cherry pie filling; and blueberry pie
filling.

and cottage cheese Kuchen; baked rice with raisins; and Dampfnoodla.

Bernadine and Erica still
use the Watkins products of lemon extract, vanilla, and cinnamon
with the recipes which were used in the Lang home in their
childhood.
