he coached Alexandra's soccer team until the time of his deployment.
Lance was an avid player, be it playing cards, board games or wrestling

of Kassel, Glueckstal Colonies, and wife Susanna Enzi of Freudental,
Like many families that came to America in the
1880s they all settled at first in Hutchinson and Bon Homme Counties,
SD and then in later years parts of each family moved to McLean
Lance Koenig is a distant cousin of Dr. Karl Stumpp.
Karl's great-grandfather was Johannes Koenig and first wife, Christine
Luithle. Christine died shortly thereafter. Lance Koenig descended
from that same Johannes Koenig and his second wife, Karolina Widmaier.
Being Lance is a great-great-great-grandson of Johannes Koenig.
Lance's relationship to Dr. Karl Stumpp is (half) second cousin
twice removed. One could also figure out their relationship from
a generation further back in the Koenig Family Line, as Dr. Karl
Stumpp is related on his mother's side as well, but to figure
both gets rather convoluted.

of Lance Koenig.
