The internet can be a tempting resource to use because it is familiar, easy to use, and always gets you a lot of results. And while there is an increasing amount of scholarly content available online for free, there remains an even greater amount of poor quality, unreliable and biased materials online. It is up to you to critically evaluate the information sources you find online to determine if they are appropriate for your research needs.
