Marilyn Hagerty book added to the book collection

The book Grand Forks: A History of American Dining in 128 Reviews, has been added to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection.  The author Marilyn Hagerty, has been a columnist for the Grand Forks Herald since 1957.  She gained fame when her 2012 review of the local Grand Forks Olive Garden went viral. Native American art book added to the book collection

A new book has been added to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection. It is, Storytelling Time: Native North American Art from the Collections at the University of North Dakota. This book includes 175 color plates illustrating clothing, headdresses, ceremonial objects, and other artifacts-many never before published-of the tribes that live in the North and South Dakota region of the United States.

"Hutterites: The Nine" added to book collection

The book Hutterites the Nine: Our Story to Freedom has been added to the Institute for Regional Studies Archives book collection.  The book focuses on nine former members of Hutterite colonies, from the Forest River colony in Fordville, and Hillside Colony in Manitoba, Canada. The book goes about chronicling their lives as Hutterites, and detailing their decisions to leave their communities.
