2013 is New Rivers Press's 45th year of publishing and their 10th year of publishing from their MSUM location. Their Birthday Bash and Book Launch on November 7 will include introductions to their newest novels and poetry, some light refreshments, and time to mingle and relax to the tunes of Cat Sank Trio.
The doors will open at the Rourke Art Museum at 6:45 p.m., and you'll be greeted with acoustic guitar music from Karl Bakkum. At 7:05 they will call everyone together for a few announcements followed by readings from their six 2013 authors (see information below). They will also be recognizing graphic designers and interns who have worked through the New Rivers Press's Certificate in Publishing to make their books over the last ten years.
This event is free and open to the public.
