| Title: | Urban Greenway Retrofit: a design for alternative transportation, community and the environment |
| Author: | Rude, Maegin |
| Abstract: | This thesis will examine how greenway systems connect and strengthen neighborhoods and green spaces within a city. A connected greenway system links green spaces within a city to enhance the relationships and well-being of the communities in the city. A working greenway infrastructure makes connections within a city that will encourage sustainable approaches, enhance the social attributes of neighborhoods, and create a cohesive link throughout the city, which are essential for a unified, lasting community. |
