This form is a sample version of the GRHC’s Deed of Gift. The donor cannot fill out the Deed of Gift form first. It has to go through the proper channels. When the GRHC receives a donation and it is accepted into its permanent collections, a Deed of Gift is sent out to the donor. The form will first have to be signed by the Director of the GRHC and the NDSU Dean of Libraries. A deed of gift is a formal and legal document/ agreement that officially transfers all ownership and legal rights of the donated materials. |
