Abstract: Matted print. Black and white. Image of the Wilhelm Schurr family in an early Ford automobile on their farm. Image of a family (a man, woman, and three children) sitting in an early Ford automobile next to a barn. Barn door, center; hay loft door, above barn door; and human access door, at right are all open. Identified as the Wilhelm “William” Schurr family. Photograph was taken on the Wilhelm “William” Schurr farm. Circa 1920. Inscribed on the back: “William Schurr barn.” Typed on sticker on back: “Picture circa 1920/ Homestead barn of Wilhem Schurr on edge of Big Stick Lake, Saskatchewan with first Ford car.
