Title: ND100 and ND300 New Corn Inbred Lines for Producing Early Maturing Hybrids
Author: Cross, H . Z.
Description: ND100 and ND300 are yellow dent corn (Zea mays L.) inbred lines developed in the research program at the Agricultural Experiment Station, North Dakota State University. The lines were evaluated for yield and agronomic performance and in hybrid combinations. ND100 is released because of its potential use in producing hybrids for extremely short season areas while ND300 is released for its potential use in producing higher yielding hybrids for eastern North Dakota. These lines also may be of use in breeding programs aimed at developing early maturing hybrids.
