Title: Zinc and Phosphorus Fertilizer Experiments with Corn on Reclaimed and Undisturbed Land
Author: Halvorson, G.A.
Description: Experiments for the effect of zinc fertilizer and applied phosphorous on the yield of corn growth on a reclaimed stripmine soil and on an undisturbed soil in western North Dakota. The use of zinc fertilizer for corn in western North Dakota was not totally justified in those soils in areas of past lignite mining. Routing soil testing for phosphorous deficiency was recommended for undisturbed soils which are equally applicable to reclaimed soils.
