dc.description In 1988, 'Seward' was a new, winter-hardy cultivar of hard red wheat. It has a high yield potential, stiff straw and winter-hardiness level acceptable for the Northern Great Plains. Next, a history of the plant name is given, it's breeding history, agtronomic performance, disease reaction, it's wheat, milling it's and baking quality.
