dc.description In 1987, dry bean production in North Dakota ranked it second nationally in all dry edible beans and pinto productions. Minnesota raked 7th. Little was known regarding producers problems and practices regarding such. A survey was sent out to 1800 growers asking them about these. Diseases and weeds cited as problems. The article goes into further detail about what growers did to address these concerns.
