dc.description From 1989 to 1990, North Dakota rose $5 per acre. From 1988 to 1989, farmland rose $3 per acre. The criteria for the valuation of the farmland is given. Drought figures into the valuation of farmland. The data from which these valuations are discussed. Government support in propping up agriculture is cited. Both buyer and seller characteristics are reviewed. It was expected that 1991 farmland prices would be a continuation of 1990 prices with weather conditions figuring into property valuation.
