dc.description The perceived leadership of young, urban, North Dakotans, was viewed as being a defining factor for the futures of communities. A written survey was given young, General leadership and work-related speak skills were those areas that these young adults felt they were best competent in. Group leadership and speaking skills were those areas where they felt least competent. If these tow areas are addressed, these young adults may become more involved in community and professional affairs.
