Classes and Instruction

The Libraries offer classes and instruction sessions each semester:

  • A one credit course entitled Introduction to Library Research is offered Fall and Spring semesters when there is sufficient enrollment in the course. The course catalog in Campus Connection provides current registration information.
  • Subject librarians are available to provide library and information research training sessions. Faculty should contact their subject librarian or contact staff at the Reference Desk (231-8886).
  • Sessions on information research topics may be offered during the semester. Sessions will be listed on this page and through other methods of communication on campus.
  • If you need an individual training session or information research assistance, please contact the staff at the Reference Desk (231-8886) or a subject librarian.
  • Distance students and faculty should contact their subject librarian or the Educational Services Librarian for online training opportunities. The Reference Desk has a toll-free number (1-800-843-7358) for out-state, NDSU-affiliated requests for assistance.
