Ask a Librarian
As you finish out your semester, remember that NDSU librarians are here to help you! If you need to find resources for a paper or presentation, stop by the reference desk or use the online chat feature at the bottom right of the library website. Examples of questions we could help you with include:
I need to find eight scholarly journal articles for this paper; what are those and can you help me find them?
What is a good database for researching my paper/presentation topic?
I’ve been searching forever and not finding articles that work for my topic. What search terms should I try?
I need to find a couple of books—one here in the library and one that we don’t have; how do I do that?
Where can I find NDSU dissertations?
How do I get a full-text article if I only have the citation information?
I heard the library has 3-D printing; can you tell me more about that?
For questions outside of our reference hours, you can email a subject librarian or use the online chat feature at the bottom right of the library website. We staff the reference desk 9am-9pm Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm Friday, and 1-9pm Sundays. Also remember to check out our group study rooms as you work on your end of year group projects. They will be open first come, first serve during 24/7.
