Christian T. Lee was born in Norway in April 1871. Mr. Lee came to America in 1888 settling in Oberon, North Dakota. He was married to Carrie Johnson on April 6, 1896 in Fargo, and together they had one son, Carl. He was working for Hans T. Hansen in Fargo in 1895-1896.
A photograph with his imprint states “C. T. Lee’s Photo Car, From Fargo, N. Dak.” Based on the internal evidence, it was determined that this photograph was taken about 1897.
Mr.
Lee later operated studios in Harvey, N.D. from 1902 to 1919, and Fessenden,
N.D. in 1906.
