Louis Schoch was born in Sulzbach, Germany on June 14, 1870 and immigrated to America in March 1889. He was living near Ortonville, Minnesota in 1892, and moved to North Dakota in 1906. Around
1910 he opened Schoch Palace Photo Studio at 509 Broadway. He
is last found listed in Fargo in 1914. In 1918 a business
gazetteer lists him as a photographer in Hunter, North Dakota. 1910s photographers
