Dakota Business College Sports

The Dakota Business College believed that the successful business person was physically fit. After the second (north) building was built, the third floor of the main building was changed into a gymnasium.

The Dakota Business College basketball program started even earlier, however, as can be seen by the 1906-7 pictures at right. The postcard at top right shows their "Famous Basket Ball Team" from 1907. On the bottom right is a photograph of the women's team from 1906. On the reverse of the photograph of the women is written "taken in March 1906" and the names Higlin, Stronebo, and Helen Prub.
