John Farrand

John D. Farrand was born in Phillisburg, New Jersey. He studied law in New Jersey where he was admitted to the bar in February 1882. He moved to Sanborn (Barnes county) in 1883 and moved to Fargo in 1886. He became associated with the Fargo Loan Agency where he was secretary and attorney.
