Cathedral of St. Mary
St. Mary's Cathedral is located at 619 7th Street North (on the corner of Broadway and Sixth Avenue North). This Victorian Gothic cathedral was dedicated on May 30, 1899. The building to the right of the church in the postcard is the Bishop's residence, built by Bishop Shanley—the first Bishop of Fargo. The tower on the left rises to 172 feet and houses the lone bell of the church.
