Fargo Country Club
The Fargo Golf Club was founded in the spring of 1898. It was later renamed the Fargo Golf & Tennis Club. The established the Fargo Country Club on May 1, 1916 and purchased 80 acres for a 9-hole golf course. An additional tract of land was purchased in 1916-1920 for an additional 9 holes.
In 1923 the Club opened the first 18-hole golf course in North Dakota.
A new clubhouse was constructed in 1934 and expanded in 1950. Tennis courts were added in 1970 and a swimming pool opened in 1986.
