Miller plans visit to Elgin, N.D. centennial with Germans from Russia Heritage Collection display

Michael M. Miller, NDSU Libraries' Germans from Russia Heritage Collection’s (GRHC) director and bibliographer, will attend the Elgin, N.D. centennial. The GRHC will have information tables and displays at the Elgin Public Library located on Main Street. Miller will be at the library on Friday, June 18 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, June 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Miller returns to North Dakota from Ukraine and Germany on June 7 with the 16th Journey to the Homeland Tour group. He has been at the helm of the GRHC's large and impressive book, document and photo collections, now in his 43rd year at NDSU. The GRHC has been a pioneer for website development, organizing homeland tours and publishing. The GRHC is also well known for its collaboration with Prairie Public Broadcasting which has created a series of award-winning documentaries and several radio programs.
