The GRHC produces Voices from the Heartland CD

FARGO, N.D — The Germans from Russia Heritage Collection (GRHC), NDSU Library has produced a CD from the Voices from the Heartland radio series.

Tim Mathern and Robert Erbele, ND State Senators, provided commentary for the 29 clips, which aired on Prairie Public Radio from July to October 2007.

Voices from the Heartland contains narratives from the first three seasons of interviews conducted by the Dakota Memories Oral History Project (DMOHP) staff. The CD contains memories shared by narrators such as dating, going to college, women’s work and the war.
