Potato Pancakes or in German "Kartoffelpuffer"

A recipe for about 4 portions
1 kilogram waxy potatoes
3 eggs (middle)
1 teaspoon salt
40 grams four, I use instead flour oat flakes
100 ml sunflower oil to fry
Grate the potatoes and onion with a potato rasp or with a kitchen machine, add the eggs, the salt and the oat flakes and mix it. Heat the oil in fry pan and do dough with a big spoon in the pan, make it even and fry it on the both sides 6-8 minutes crispy brown. The fried potato pancakes on kitchen tissue and keep them warm. Serve them and eat them with applesauce.
