Photograph appears to be the cornerstone for the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lehr, North Dakota. The Ebenezer Baptist Church had it's beginnings as early as 1898. Their first meetings were held in each other's homes consisted of six or seven families, many were early immigrants from South Russia. By 1900 the group increased and held their services in a schoolhouse in town. In 1906 the present Baptist Church was erected in Lehr. One of the early members was my great grandfather, Friederich Hildenbrand.
