Material Donations to NDSU Libraries

NDSU Libraries accepts gifts of books and material in other formats which substantively advance the quality and quantity of information resources available to the NDSU community. Of special value are scholarly materials that fill existing gaps, support emerging research, or tie directly to the curriculum. Gifts are treated as new acquisitions and are evaluated by the same standards applied to new purchases to ensure quality, consistency, and relevance to the needs of the university. Generally, textbooks, items which duplicate current holdings, and books in poor physical condition will not be accepted. Materials with writing, highlighting, or other distracting additions will also not be accepted.
