Most of the material in this report was gathered through the assistance of the Superintendent and staffs of the Cheyenne River and Standing Rock Reservations. The Chairman of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Council and the Chairman of the Council Committee on Claims, Legislation and Missouri River Developments, assisted in gathering facts regarding the Cheyenne River Reservation.
