She holds pieces of paper. Couple identified as Daniel and Karoline (Grenz) Nuske. Circa 1920s. Typed on accompanying sticker: “Daniel Nuske and wife, Karoline Grenz - 3rd husband. Karoline Grenz born at Lichtenfeld, South Russia in 1850. Died in Golden Prairie, Sask. 1940. Photograph was taken in the early 1920’s. Daniel Nuske was born in February 1843 st Leipzig, South Russia. He died at Milton-Freewater, Oregon 15 Dec 1926.
