dc.descriptionThis was a report on a food habit study covering seven predatory species trapped or shot during the regular North Dakota season, November 1, 1946 to February 28, 1947. This study covers all of North Dakota. Predatory birds and other species were included later. Up first were the red fox, coyote, raccoon, skunk, mink, weasel, badger and bobcat. The contents, The contents, food and non-food items, of deceased predatory animals were analyzed. This study is aimed at revealing the importance of the predators to our upland game species.
