dc.description | The soil on the Langdon Substation was fairly typical Barnes fine sandy loam. Three trials were made between 1914 and 1948 on the effects of fertilizer on corn yield. In the third study, the addition of ammoniate phosphate gave an 8.6% yield increase. | |
