dc.descriptionPotato trials in North Dakota conducted in 1948 are reviewed. The red tuber varieties Triumph, Red Pontiac and Satapa and the white tuber varieties Chicago, Cobbler and Russet Sebago were grown with white tuber selections USDA B61-3, Minn 23 and Minn 42 and seven white selections of the potato breeding program of the Horticulture Department of the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station. Their yields, their specific gravity, red varieties, white varieties and ND 530 were discussed in detail. The summary presents those potato varieties which were the highest yielding to the lowest and those with highest to lowest specific gravity.
