dc.descriptionGreen aphids, named green bugs, were at record levels in 1949 in North Dakota farm crops. The areas of the most infestation, damages and losses and the preliminary control experiments and observations are presented. The early treatment of this was highly recommended to reduce potential losses due to green bugs. Insecticide application by airplane was recommended for most effective coverage.
