dc.descriptionThree phosphate fertilizers were compared, on the basis of their effect on the yield of spring wheat sown on fallow, in field trials by the Soils Department of the North Dakota Agricultural Experiment Station. The trials took place in 1949, and were located at the substation at Edgeley, N. D., the Bob Peters farm at Jamestown, N. D., and the Pedcr M. Johnson farm at Park River, N. D. Results of the trials at Edgeley and Park River are presented in Table I and Table II respectively. The results from these trials is interpreted for the reader. Drill application instead of broadcast application was preferable. Recommendations were offered. The residual effects were addressed.
