dc.description | During the brooding season of 1946, sulfamerazine and sodium salt of sulfamerazine were tried experimentally in certain outbreaks of pullorum disease and paratyphoid infections in chicks and poults. Results of these trials were recorded included Table 1. The data demonstrates that sulfarmcrazine and sodium sulfamerazine have curative value in treating salmonella infections in poultry. The article goes on to given more details about other trials on such, the recommended administration rates, morality rates, egg production, etc. | |
