A 1971 study at the Fort Yates, North Dakota on Standing Rock Sioux Tribe land, was conducted to help determine the potential of irrigated pasture in the state. Pasture establishment and management, soils and irrigation; and animal management are discussed. The article on how these lands affect cattle weight gain.
