dc.title | The Sulfur-Supplying Power Of Certain Red River Valley Soils | en_US |
dc.type | Article | en_US |
dc.description | Sulfur is an essential element for the growth of plants. In 1969, sulfur deficiency in crops in the United States increased during recent years. Plant analysis provides a convenient way to evaluate the sulfur supplying power of soils. During 1967 and 1968 plant material from fertilizer and management experiments with wheat, corn and sugar beets in the Red River Valley was available for plant analysis. This report evaluates the sulfur status of these plant samples. | |
