The article discusses the usage of fertilizers and herbicides and proper grazing management to address the effects of overgrazing by cattle. Studies were conducted near Williston from 1963 to 1965 to determine the effectiveness of fertilizer and herbicides, along with deferred grazing, in restoring an overgrazed pasture. A three year summary of the results of that experiment are reported here.
