dc.title | Dairy Beef: A Profit Potential | en_US |
dc.type | Article | en_US |
dc.description | In 1968, approximately 8 million male calves were born each year. Only a small percentage of these were selected as breeding stock. In many areas, the profit from selling these calves at a few days or as veal was quite small. However, some evidence was surfacing suggesting that raising dairy cows under certain circumstances could produce a profit. The article presents and explores some of these. | |
