For Higher Corn Yields -- Use Fertilizeren_US
Articleen_US
The author suggested that corn yields in the state of North Dakota could be increased through the usage of fertilizer. They cited that the corn yields in the state were low in comparison due to shorter growing seasons, frequent climatic changes, insect damage, poor weed control and the usage of corn varieties poorly suited to the state. It was suggested that another reason for lower yields corn were deficiencies in nitrogen and phosphorus. Having a proper fertilizer management system in place was pointed out. Other aspects pertaining this process were addressed as well.
