dc.description | The topic was weed growth in irrigated waters in the state of North Dakota. The irrigation provided a means of weed seeds to be carried sometimes up to great distances dependent upon the structure of the seed. Some seeds begin germination while still in transit. The germination rates of various seeds differ. Further research on the longevity of these seeds in ditch water was recommended. | |
