This paper explores the rising interest in melatonin supplements, highlighting their potential benefits for sleep quality amongst concerns about safety and regulation. While melatonin naturally regulates sleep-wake cycles, synthetic supplements offer convenience but pose risks such as interactions with medications and labeling errors. Informed decision-making, including consulting healthcare professionals, is essential to maximize benefits while minimizing risks. Despite promising results, further research is needed to fully understand melatonin's effects. Therefore, a cautious and informed approach is crucial for its effective and safe use in promoting overall wellness.en_US
