dc.description | The author, W.D. Eide, discussed their experience in the collection of specimens for a calf scours project. This project asked producers to collect colostrum samples from their beef cows and feces samples from scouring and non-scouring calves. E. coli organisms in non-scouring calves were sensitive to almost every form of medication. The project examined management systems of various cooperating, calving facilities and disease prevention programs. | |
